alpaca.tools is operated by Caravaca Labs, LLC(“we”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the tools. If you use the site on behalf of a company, you agree on its behalf too.
The service
alpaca.toolsis a collection of free utilities — converters, formatters, generators, and similar tools — plus articles about using them. The tools run in your browser, there are no accounts, and you can use everything without providing any personal information.
Your content
Whatever you put into a tool, and whatever the tool produces from it, belongs to you. Because the tools process your input in your browser, we never receive it and claim no rights over it. You are responsible for having the right to process the content you use with the tools. When you submit a form — a tool request, a problem report, or a contact message — you give us permission to use that submission to run and improve the site.
Acceptable use
Use the tools for lawful purposes only. Do not attack, probe, or overload the site, scrape it abusively, submit spam through its forms, or interfere with other people’s use of it. Do not use the tools to process content you have no right to access. We may block traffic that abuses the service.
Our content
The site’s design, name, logo, articles, and code are owned by Caravaca Labs, LLC or its licensors. You may link to any page and quote reasonable excerpts with attribution, but do not republish substantial portions of the site or pass it off as your own. Tool outputs generated from your own input are yours to use without restriction.
No warranty
The tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, and fitness for a particular purpose. Tools can have bugs and outputs can be wrong. Verify results yourself before relying on them for production, security, legal, financial, or other important decisions.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Caravaca Labs, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or business interruption arising from your use of the site. The service is free; to the extent any liability remains despite the above, our total liability for all claims is limited to the amount you paid us to use it, which is zero, or the smallest amount permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Changes to the catalog and these terms
We may add, change, or remove tools and content at any time, and we may suspend or discontinue the service without notice. We may also update these terms; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Caravaca Labs, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law rules. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
