Impact font text as a transparent PNG
The preview is drawn at the size you choose, and Download PNG saves it at twice that size. With the checkerboard background, everything except the letters and outline is transparent, so the text drops onto video edits, YouTube thumbnails, slides, and stream overlays without a box around it.
Long text wraps onto new lines on its own. Press Enter to break lines yourself, and set left, center, or right alignment under More options.
Meme font generator for photos
Classic memes use Impact in white with a black outline, in capitals, with one line at the top and one at the bottom. Switch to On a photo, add your picture, and type both lines. Each caption is sized to fit the width of the photo, so a short line comes out big and a long one wraps.

- The Classic, Yellow, Inverted, and Plain styles work on photos too.
- ALL CAPS is on by default. Turn it off for mixed case.
Impact font copy and paste
Apps like Instagram, TikTok, and Discord choose the font for your text, so there's no way to paste Impact itself. What you can paste are Unicode letters that are bold by design. Bold sans is the closest to Impact's heavy, plain shapes, Fullwidth gives the spaced-out aesthetic look, and the black squares and circles stand out in bios and display names.
Letters and digits are converted. Accents, emoji, and other symbols stay as you typed them, and the list follows the ALL CAPS switch.
Impact and Anton: which font you get
Impact is a Microsoft font that ships with Windows and macOS. When it's installed, the preview and downloads use it. When it isn't, the tool loads Anton, a free font under the SIL Open Font License that closely matches Impact's tall, condensed letters. The two differ slightly in letter widths, so the same text can come out a little narrower or wider.
